Hardware Requirements

  • These general requirements are for the smallest load model
  • All platforms must have 64-bit compliant cores.
  • Dane product should be treated as high-risk security resource, similar to how you would treat any LDAP product (for example, Active Directory). Therefore, you should only install Dane in an appropriately secured network and physical location, and only authorized users should be granted access.

Hardware Requirements​

The hardware configuration is adequate for a small and medium environment, and provides satisfactory capacity for viewing and evaluating Dane functionality.

  • CPU: 12 cores
  • Memory: 32 GB
  • Storage: 2 x 1 TB SATA HDD in RAID 1 (Total 1 TB)

To access Dane, the browser host requires 4GB RAM to view large policies. Policies with tens of thousands of rules may not be able to be displayed in the browser.
